A Peaceful Farmstay Retreat
Kruger’s Rest Guest House was created to offer travellers a relaxed farmstay experience just 17km from two gates of Kruger National Park. Our vision is simple: to provide comfortable, self-catering accommodation within a peaceful and secure environment where guests can feel at home.
Set within a lush subtropical garden, the property reflects the natural beauty of the region while offering the privacy and independence that modern travellers value. Each of our four rooms is thoughtfully designed for comfort and flexibility, allowing couples, families, and small groups to enjoy a restful stay while exploring the wonders of Kruger and the surrounding area.
Our Farmstay Facilities
Safety and convenience are at the heart of our guest experience. Kruger’s Rest is a secured, electrically fenced homestead with gated private access and an evening patrolling security guard. Guests enjoy ample shady parking and unrestricted access to the large tranquil garden, complete with a sunny indigenous-planted labyrinth.
All rooms are self-catering, air-conditioned, and come with private balconies and televisions. While daily service is not included, environmentally conscious use of water, electricity, and waste is encouraged to help preserve the property’s natural charm. Families travelling with small children can enjoy our sunny slide, sandpit, and recycled rocking horse under adult supervision.
Additional Services
To make your stay even more comfortable and convenient, Kruger’s Rest Guest House offers a selection of optional services tailored to your needs.
Guests may request a continental-style breakfast at an additional cost per person. This option is ideal for those who would like a simple and relaxed start to the day before heading out to explore nearby attractions such as Kruger National Park.
For extended stays longer than three days, room servicing can be arranged upon request. This ensures that guests enjoy added convenience while maintaining the privacy and independence of a self-catering farmstay experience.
For group bookings of eight or more guests, our large entertaining veranda and jacuzzi can be made available by prior arrangement with the host. This space provides a welcoming setting for families or small groups to gather, relax, and enjoy time together within the peaceful garden surroundings.
Should you have any special requirements or requests prior to arrival, we encourage you to contact us directly. We are always happy to assist where possible to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible.

Our focus is on offering a calm and welcoming environment where guests can relax, reconnect with nature, and enjoy both comfort and privacy. Whether you are visiting for wildlife, family time, or a quiet farmstay escape, Kruger’s Rest provides a uniquely personal and tranquil experience.
